Sailing

When sailing through these sites, you let the scenery surprise you. You feel the wind and particularly you feel freedom. 

BALMACEDA AND SERRANO GLACIERS 

This is an unmissable sailing trip. It starts in Puerto Natales to continue sailing around Last Hope Fjord. During the journey, nature surprises the traveler: fantastic hills and native forests, seadogs gamboling around the rocks, cormorants and condors unfolding there wings spice up the beautiful views. The vessel gets close to Balmaceda Glacier and then it stops in Puerto Toro for a stroll through the forests until the lagoon after the icebergs of Serrano Glacier. The tranquility of this lagoon, with floating icebergs and the Serrano Glacier with its continuous slides are the main attractions in the area.
It is also possible to sail on kayak boats or zodiac boats on Laguna Serrano and camping in an eco campsite.
Time: half-a-day and one-day sailing trips.

CANAL DE LAS MONTAÑAS 

This tourist alternative towards the area of Patagonian channels allows you to enjoy landscapes of an aggressive beauty with Patagonian Andes chains as main attractions.
The canal de las montañas stretches out for about 40 kilometers length with quiet waters and surroundings with numerous waterfalls, sea species and glaciers that glide off hills to go to the sea. This program is only covered by private trips.

BRINGING TWO PARKS TOGETHER 

Río Serrano is situated between two national parks: Torres del Paine and Bernardo O’Higgins. This river offers one of the most incredible adventures sailing on kayak boats, rubber boats or modern vessels. The trip develops among mountain chains, native vegetation and the eco surrounding of Southern Ice Field, until it gets to Monte Balmaceda
with Balmaceda and Serrano hanging glaciers. During this journey, experts will lead you to discover the most awesome corners of Patagonia. The circuit can be carried out via Puerto Natales, Monte Balmaceda, Paine and vice versa.
