Introduction

Live a unique and not repeatable experience in this striking park created in 1959 and appointed World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1978. 

Its area covers 242.242 hectares with heights ranging from 200 to 3050 meters (Paine Massif ). It holds 4 gateways: Porterías Sarmiento, Laguna Amarga, Laguna Azul and Rio Serrano (administrative office). 

This park has fantastic sights and paths conditioned for trekking that meander diverse pampas areas, deep Magellan forests, lakes and lagoons with ice floes and impressive glaciers, all encircled by gigantic rocky stones that turn the Torres del Paines’ appearance unique.
