Walks

San Isidro Lighthouse walks
Going out from Punta Arenas by car to the south and to the km 60, this interesting trip begins, it can be developed walking or by bike, to watch San Isidro lighthouse, reference point for the ships that used to cross the Strait. The walk lasts 5 hours along the coast up to the lighthouse which is located at the southern area of the Brunswick Peninsula.
Duration: 10 hours.

Froward Cape
In Froward Cape, south from Punta Arenas, it is the “Cross of the seas” that shows the last spot of American continent. The trip starts with a first part of 70 kms. by car up to San Pedro River, to continue with a 32 kms. walk bordering the Strait of Magellan, in a magnificent landscape formed by extraordinary Flora of Patagonia. Sometimes the visitors can watch pumas and huemules on earth and dolphins, sea wolves and great variety of bird by the shore all of them in their natural habitat. Location 102 kms. south from Punta Arenas.
