This interesting tour begins in Puerto Williams, specifically at "La Virgen" waterfall, located 3 km. from downtown, and it lasts approx. 4 hours (round trip).
At the cascade begins the trail, going into the wood of lenga (Nothofagus pumilio), eastbound. The trail is well demarcated with painted marked trees to guide the way (there is another 4 to 5 days trekking circuit recently opened that surrounds the Dientes de Navarino). In a continuous, steep and attractive zigzag, the limit of the wood is reached within 20 to 40 minutes; white posts mark this stretch in straight line towards the ante-summit of the hill, which is reached 20 minutes later. At 610 meters over the Beagle, the sight is wonderful. If you can see the preceded and besides you can appreciate some lagoons of the mountain chain called Dientes de Navarino, then you are on the top of La Bandera hill.
