The Dientes de Navarino circuit is the southernmost trekking route of the world, surrounding the chain of hills of the Dientes, whose steep summits are over 1,000 meters high. Thus, the trekking is in the middle of an imposing mountain landscape dominated by frozen lagoons, snowed horns, rock slopes and passes with striking view of the Beagle Channel and the south side of the island. In this zone it is possible to appreciate beautiful phenomenon link to the snow melting, such as the birth of torrents and underground rivers. The bird population and the fauna decrease with the height; however it is more frequent the sighting of condors.
The mountain route is not hard for walkers in good shape, although the climate conditions are absolutely determinant to the feasibility of the circuit. This scene is ideal for the practice of mountain climbing, rambling and rock climbing, as testified by some tourists interviewed in the place.
