Specialized lectures the day before to the flight inform the characteristics of the Antarctic and give recommendations for nature's good care. Tourists are informed about the necessary protection measures for this exceptional ecosystem.
The flight will cross the Magellan Strait, Tierra del Fuego Island, Darwin mountain chain and its snowdrifts. The landscape will be formed of islands until the Cape Horn, the last rocky place of the American continent. The plane flies over the Drake Sea, where Pacific and Atlantic oceans join, and lands in Lieutenant Rodolfo Marsh airport belonging to the Antarctic Base Eduardo Frei Montalva, on King George Island.
After the arrival to Frei Base there is a tour around Villa Las Estrellas installations, wild fauna reserve, glaciers and other attractions. During the stay there is open bar and full food service, according to the characteristics of the place.
The rich waters of the Antarctic ocean feeds the continent fauna, which includes, among other species, blue whales, killer whales, sea elephants, Weddell seals, Antarctic seals and penguins, being the most known species the Adelia penguin, Papua penguin and Antarctic penguin. The great diversity and rough climate contrasts with the scientific bases installations and above all with the Villa Las Estrellas, the first town of civilian population.
